White Wine

Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc (South Africa)

A fresh, dry Chenin with broad appeal displaying classic baked apple and zippy citrus aromas with soft, delicate apple fruit on the palate well balanced by crisp acidity

Dom Vedlhan Sauvignon Blanc (French)

A wonderfully sunny style of Sauvignon Blanc, broad and quite tropical with delicate smokey
notes, ripe citrus acidity and a richly-textured finish.

Convivale Pinot Grigio (Italy)

A crisp and refreshing dry white, lightly aromatic with characters of peach, baked apple and lemon on the nose.

Baron De Badassiere Picpoul De Pinet (French)

Sunshine in a bottle, Picpoul is a grape from the Southwest of France where it benefits from a sunny climate with dry cooling evenings leading to deeply flavoured wines.

Sileni Estates NZ Marlborough Sauv Blanc (NZ)

This fruity favourite from the southern hemisphere. This wine has a strong citrus nose with vegetal notes. Light body, high acidity, citrus and fruity aromas. Very drinkable

Pouilly Fume Domaine Bouchie Chatellier (France)

A timeless single domain Pouilly-Fumé. Tasting Notes Floral and herbaceous, this is a concentrated wine with great elegance, complexity and power.

Red Wine

Bellefontaine Merlot (France)

French Merlot from the Languedoc region. Soft and pliable red capable of matching with most foods. Easy choice for a devout red drinker.

Terres De Roy Cotes Du Rhone (France)

A firm favourite at the Gate. This Côtes du Rhône has an enticing nose that is ripe and concentrated, full of black and red berry fruit. It is supple, rich yet balanced with crisp acidity. It is delightful to drink now.

Nieto Malbec (Argentina)

Blackberry, plum fruit and sweet spice. The palate is silky and warming with more black fruit and dark cherries. The wine is vibrant with an alluring blend of fruit along with clove, pepper and cinnamon spice. A great full bodied wine with a fresh finish.

El Coto Rioja Crianza (Spain)

This Rioja is vibrant ruby red in colour with a garnet rim. Aromas of red fruits, vanilla and toast entice the nose. On the palate, the wine's silky texture is tempered by concentrated,
red berry fruit and notes of sweet spice from the oak.

Fluerie Le Quarter du Cru Beaujolais

A textbook Fleurie. An abundance of woody spice on the nose followed by raspberry coulis and fig notes which continue on to the fresh fruit finish. A classic French red wine

Chianti Classico San Feuce (Italy)

Chianti is a famous, delicious, and tasty red wine. from Tuscany in Italy, it is a classic, and is considered a fresh, fruity, medium-bodied, dry red wine. Chianti wine is earthy, with a touch
of spice, and occasionally a note of savoury due to the ageing process that occurs in oak barrels.

Rose

Pasquiers Rose (France)

Bring on the summer early with this lovely Rose. This pretty, light coloured rose has lovely berry flavours of Grenache and tangy Cinsault and is dry but with an appealing roundness
and fresh finish.

Sparkling

Lunetta Prosecco Spumante

Any excuse for a celebration with this bottle of lovely bubbles. A deliciously light and fruity Prosecco with hints of apple and peach on the nose and a fresh, softly sparkling
palate.
